Shelley Otis
Shelley is a multi-award winning harpist based in the Boston area. Her musical style ranges from elegant classics to lively covers of pop songs. Couples can choose from a variety of genres including popular, classical, jazz, and various world traditions, and they are welcome to request additional songs that aren’t on her list. Finding just the right music for every couple is her top priority.
In addition to solo harp, Shelley plays piano and organ, and also collaborates with a violinist, cellist, percussionist, bassist, and vocalist. Any combination of instruments is possible, from a harp/violin duet, to a full band with harp, violin, percussion, and bass—a unique ensemble that brings an elegant yet lively sound to your wedding cocktail hour or reception.

One of the most special parts of our wedding!
Shelley was incredible. Her style and skill on the harp added so much to our event and our guests were really in awe. She was so wonderful and even in the moment that I was walking down the aisle (and was so overwhelmed!) I felt so connected to the music because Shelley had learned one of my favorite songs that I had chosen to walk down the aisle to. It was very special! Thank you Shelley.

Shelley was wonderful to work with from the moment I first reached out to inquire about her services. Shelley was very timely, professional, and caring in her communications with us. Shelley was also very flexible in last minute changes that came up. Her music for our ceremony and cocktail hour sounded so beautiful!
Talented
Shelley added some absolutely amazing special touches to our big day! She is so incredibly talented, people were tearing up before we even began to walk down the aisle. Shelley has an incredibly wide variety of songs to choose from and if given enough time, is able to learn new songs for your event! Not only is she talented, she is also kind and a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to all inquiries we had and brought/set up all of her own equipment. Thank you again, Shelley!
Wonderful harp music!
Besides being a very talented harp player, Shelley was super kind, friendly and wonderful to work with. She learned a song especially for our ceremony and it turned out beautifully. She consulted with us before the wedding to choose songs and took such care in preparing the music for the ceremony. Shelley’s harp playing added a magical element to our wedding day and we could not recommend her highly enough! Thank you! ️
